In recent decades, the tremendous progress in oncology has enabled a radical change in the clinical history of a number of neoplastic diseases.
Thanks to new diagnostic techniques, the improvement of surgical procedures and experimental medical oncology, we have seen an increase in recoveries and a net extension in the survival of patients with oncological diseases.
Any medical treatment of the cancerous tissue needs to be supported by treatment aimed at the patient themselves.
With this in mind, ANT proposes the following strategic objectives:
- Guarantee the best available treatment.
- Identify new therapeutic strategies for the benefit of the patient.
- Assess the physical and psychological distress of the patient at every stage of the oncological disease in order to improve their quality of life.
- Build advanced and personalized care that meets the needs of the individual.
